Faith Farm

Faith Farm is a community supported agriculture, or CSA. We provide shares of crops or products such as produce, chicken, eggs, pork and beef. We also offer an educational basis to our consumers to give them an option to understand how agriculture works. This includes hands on educational opportunities in crop and animal husbandry for all ages of consumers.
What is a CSA?
Over the last 20 years, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) has become a popular way for consumers to buy local, seasonal food directly from a farmer. Here are the basics: a farmer offers a certain number of "shares" to the public. Typically the share consists of a box of vegetables, but other farm products may be included. Interested consumers purchase a share (aka a "membership" or a "subscription") and in return receive a box (bag, basket) of seasonal produce each week throughout the farming season, or shares of meat and eggs.
Why should I choose a CSA?
There are many advantages to going with a CSA
- Eat ultra-fresh food, with all the flavor and vitamin benefits
- Get exposed to new vegetables and new ways of cooking
- Experience hands on educational opportunities to farm life
- Find that kids typically favor food from "their" farm – even veggies they've never been known to eat
- Develop a relationship with the farmer who grows their food and learn more about how food is grown
- Support your local agricultural community
- Decrease carbon foot print by buying local
- Peace of mind in knowing where your food came from
About our Products
Our cattle, hogs and chickens are steroid and hormone free. We give a quality of life to our animals that show in the product. You will not be disappointed! The cattle, hogs and chickens are able to roam freely on grass pastures. In addition to their nutritious grass and alfalfa diet, they are also supplemented with protein, vitamins and minerals to ensure 100% of their dietary needs are being met. In addition, our cattle are fed grain in the last 60 days of their growth to maximize flavor and texture of the meat. Our meat products are available year around.
Our eggs are produced from a mixture of chickens who lay brown, white or colored eggs. You are welcome to pick your preferance. Our eggs are available year around.
Our fertilizer is a combination of horse, cattle, hog, and chicken. It is composted to a minimum of 3 months. It is available year around.
Our fruits, flowers and vegetables are a seasonal item available in the summer and fall.
